Passage control for historic vintage cars

On the last weekend of June, the participants of the Donau Classic Oldtimer Rally started their engines for the 14th time and embarked on a total of three day tours through Donaumoos, the Altmühltal and the Hallertau. An important stop was not to be missed on this approximately 650 km long route: the HANSA-FLEX transit control on the premises of the Central Warehouse South in Geisenfeld. HANSA-FLEX had already organised this as a sponsor of the Donau Classic in 2016 and 2017.

A total of 300 participants and their 150 vehicles passed by this time in the best summer weather and picked up the important HANSA-FLEX stamp for their road book. This stamp gave them important points for their later place in the overall standings.

The participants came from all over the world this year and with their companions looked like a rolling museum: whether classics like an Audi Quattro, BMW 2002 or Mercedes SL or more unusual models like a DKW fast truck from 1958 or an ovali beetle from the same year - there was something for every classic car enthusiast!

A HANSA-FLEX employee also took part in the rally again with his 1953 Ford F100 pickup and represented the company.

We would like to thank all participants and visitors for the great Oldtimer Day!
